Graze Box Review: March 2013 Nibblebox #5

I am so grateful to have new tasting snacks every single week. I love snacks and if I haven't tried them I would like to and I usually do. If I don't like something I tend to avoid that certain thing like a terrible terrible plague. So if you haven't tried Graze yet, you need to. If you're interested in joining, it's still invitation only, use my invitation code ZTMZWW6Djoin here.

Smoky Gazpacho Dip:

"whole grain crisp bread slices: whole wheat flour, olive oil, salt sugar yeast

smoky gazpacho relish: tomatoes, distilled white vinegar, sugar, onion, honey, salt, smoked paprika, pimention dulce, ground white pepper, ground coriander, ground ginger, chipotle chili, citric acid"   contains wheat

My Thoughts: Do you know what the sauce tastes like? It literally tastes like wieners. Like ground up wieners! It's just so weird. Before I even saw the ingredients for the biscuits, I knew they were wheat bread. If you consistently eat wheat bread you'll know what I'm talking about. This is basically wheat bread that you're dipping in wiener sauce. No thank you.

Strawberry Milkshake:

"mini strawberries: strawberry, apple juice concentrate, lemon juice concentrate, vegetable oil

white chocolate buttons: sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk, soy lecithin, natural vanilla

banana coins: banana coins"   contains milk and soy

My Thoughts: I'm literally not in the mood to even eat the chocolate buttons, not in the mood. All I ate was the mini strawberries. I avoided the banana coins because I hate dried bananas and I wasn't in the mood to eat the white chocolate buttons even though they taste better than the dark chocolate ones.

Olive and Rosemary Bruschetta:

"mini tomato breadsticks: wheat flour, olive oil, salt, dried tomatoes, herbs, vegetable oil, yeast, malt

rosemary and garlic cashews: cashew nuts, lactose, maltodextrin, salt, sugar, garlic powder, yeast extract, rosemary, parsley, caramelized sugar powder, flavors, sunflower oil

kalamata olive croutons: wheat flour, rye flour, vegetable oil, tomato juice, olive paste, salt, yeast seasoning"   contains milk, tree nuts and wheat

My Thoughts: Not going to lie the olive croutons were pretty visually ugly looking but they tasted fine. The whole thing tasted sort of like poppy seeds. Cashews are good on their own,  the rosemary and garlic really made it. And you know how I feel about the baguettes.

Hot Cross Yum:

"sponge pieces: wheat flour, sugar, free range egg, potato starch, skimmed milk powder, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sorbitol, sugar, vanilla

cinnamon and honey almonds: almonds, sugar, honey, cinnamon

orange infused raisins: raisins, natural orange flavor"

contains eggs, milk, tree nuts and wheat

My Thoughts: I've heard many great things about the actual "Hot Cross Buns" well about how delicious they are. And now I have it in snack form, oh god, I am not impressed. This is completely not yummy for me. First off the sponge pieces are tasteless and they melted in my mouth. Which reminds me of old gum that melts in your mouth because their old. And that totally freaks me out. Second, those honey cinnamon almonds taste odd to me. I'm not a fan of the honey and crusted cinnamon covered almonds, they were just too much. Usually I really love those infused fruits but I'm not lovin' those orange infused raisins. I don't like orange infused anything. I couldn't even finish it plus it was visually unappetizing.
