Graze Box Review: March 2013 Nibblebox #2

Hmm if you aren't sure what Graze is you must be living under a large boulder.
Let me give you a little summary,
Graze definitely started in the UK and then they came to the US.
They send you snacks weekly and you decide what you like and whatnot. And it's only $5 per week, which I think is a great deal. I'm quite busy usually and I don't know how to cook and I enjoy healthy controlled snacks. If you're interested in joining, since it's still invitation only, just use my invitation code ZTMZWW6join here.

Jaffa Cake:

"roasted hazels: hazelnuts

orange infused raisins: raisins, natural orange flavor

dark chocolate buttons: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla"

contains soy and tree nuts

My Thoughts: Mother Nature currently gave me my monthly gift. And so I'm in the mood for some chocolate and some nuts never hurt (unless you're allergic). There was an abundance of hazelnuts, I love hazelnuts! So that was dandy. The nuts were a bit dry so when I was chewing those balls of happiness, some bits got loose and escaped down my throat. So I had to drink some liquids to clear that up. Anyway, let's talk about those chocolate buttons. They tasted okay, a bit too sweet though. I have to say that while I was chewing up some chocolate, I noticed faint hints of orange. I'm actually not a fan of chocolate and oranges. I love raisins, raisins can do no wrong in my opinion. One piece was actually a badly dried raisin so that was upsetting but whatever it was just one.

Bonnie Wee Oatbakes:

"cheese and chive oatbakes: oatmeal, cheese powder (contains milk), olive oil, salt, chives (contains gluten)

red onion marmalade: red onions, white wine vinegar, muscovado sugar, sugar, balsamic vinegar, black pepper"

My Thoughts: This particular snack has a good amount of fiber since there's oatmeal. I love love fiber and in my opinion it should be integrated into everyone's diet. The onion marmalade is very tangy and sweet. The biscuits are very dry and dusty feeling in my mouth. So dipping the biscuits into the onion marmalade is very good. They are great together! Perfect relationship with each other.

Apple Cinnamon Flapjack:

"rolled oats, margarine (vegetable oil, salt, water), demerara sugar, honey, apple, cinnamon (contains gluten and honey)"

My Thoughts: Mmmm! Yum! This is literally the star of the whole box. When I smell the flapjack it reminds me of a oatmeal cookie. It feels firmly spongy, the texture is awesome. It's just really really tasty and I thought since there's  cinnamon it might be too much but it wasn't. There is also fiber in this and I'm in a good mood. These are very filling and in my opinion that can replace a whole meal. I'm putting this in the "love" category.

Shangri-La:

"lingonberries: lingonberries, sugar, sunflower oil

pineapple: pineapple pieces

almond slices: blanched almonds

pumpkin seeds: pumpkin seeds" contains tree nuts

My Thoughts: Hmm this wasn't my favorite. I like the fact that there were pineapple pieces,  but there was only a few chunks. I love pineapples, I think they are awesome. So if there were more pineapple bits in here the snack would've been so much more appealing. The dried berries are okay, slightly bitter. I hate the sliced almonds and I abhor pumpkin seeds. I think they are the devil.

In Conclusion: The flapjack's honestly the tastiest one! It was the rock star! If you're a fan of healthy snacks you should definitely try out graze.
