Have you guys ever heard of BzzAgent? BzzAgent is sort of like Influenster.
You take surveys based on your interests and habits. The website promotes "word of mouth" marketing by sending out Bzzkits based on what they know about you, through the surveys that you take. The more involved you are, the higher your chances are to be chosen. The products are sent to you free of charge as long as you agree to review the product. I belonged to BzzAgent for a long while now, and I haven't had the chance to participate in a campaign 'til now. So when I was asked to participate in this campaign, I didn't hesitate, especially since I do enjoy Neutrogena but I haven't tried much of their makeup.
Okay, now that I have tried the products I feel like I can tell you my thoughts.
My Bzzkit included the following products:
- Crease Proof Eye Shadow sticks in Constant Copper and Lasting Taupe
- MoistureSmooth color stick in Sweet Watermelon
- Healthy Lengths Mascara in 02 Black
There are six shades in total and I have Lasting Taupe and Constant Copper. I didn't try Lasting Taupe on my face because I saw some mold on the top of the product. Which I think is completely weird, you have to be extremely cautious. I know for sure if I dug throughout the product it'll be moldy. Anyway I did try Constant Copper on my lids without a primer and it lasted for more than six hours. Which is totally awesome! It also looked very natural.
Constant Copper is a frost. It's very golden, with hints of orange and pink. But it isn't too much where you'll think that you're seeing the sunset. Lasting Taupe is a neutral brown (They're both neutrals) and the darkness that you see is the mold. Besides the mold I just want to mention that the eye shadow sticks were very smooth and the lasting power is awesome.
They claim to be infused with antioxidants, means that they are great for the skin. I have very reactive sensitive skin and I don't wear eye shadow very often. The colors are natural enough! They don't make me feel like a bruisey eyesore. Which is always a good thing.
The pencils are small so you can throw them in your purse and you don't have to worry about the bulk. The pencils are also rounded, so you don't have to worry about any sharpened edges. They also twist up! You don't have to worry about needing to sharpen up anything.
The lasting power was very nice and they weren't heavy at all. I didn't feel like I was wearing anything which is perfect for me. No redness or itchiness occurred. I'm happy that I didn't end up looking like Stewie at the end of the day.
Chubby lip stick products are all the rage right now! Clinique has them, Tarte, Revlon, and tons more. So I'm not surprised Neutrogena have them now. They are available in eight sheer shades. They have quite a few plummy shades that I want to get my hands on, but only if they don't have a shimmer and frost finish.
The shade I was really hoping for was one of the darker tones but instead I received Sweet watermelon. It's a warm pink, also a frosted finish. My lips are pretty pigmented so whenever a lip color looks too light on my lips, I get disappointed. It was definitely too bubblegum pink on my lips. I never wear warm, frosty, almost pearlescent shades. I'm a ginormous fan of deep berry shades.
The scent of this product is absolutely amazing! It's so sweet almost like candy. These pencils are infused with shea and mango butters. While the product was on my lips it did feel super moisturized.
The next product I tested out was the Healthy Lengths mascara, formulated to condition your lashes while increasing their length by 100%. Let me tell you something about myself I have very short, sparse, Asian lashes. Half the time it looks like I don't even have any lashes. So this product definitely fascinated me in that "It might help me with my lashes" way. Since I don't have long and thick lashes I never did quite gravitate towards mascaras because I like to keep what I do have. The mascara separated my lashes well but it didn't double them in length.
