The theme this month is "Spring Fling", so when I first took the bag out of the pink foiled package I was like "Wow, the bag is so ugly." Which it is, but it was filled with goodies. I was going to make a video (like I usually do) but I didn't feel like it. The one day, I don't feel like making a video and the products were actually satisfying. So let's get started!
The Bag: Ipsy (formally Myglam)
The Cost: $10 + Free Shipping (tax in AZ and CA)
The Products: Deluxe Samples to Full Sized Beauty
The Information Card:
Yaby Concealer Refill in Honey: Value $5.06
When I first saw this I didn't even know it was concealer. I thought it was another wackadoo eye shadow. I'm very weary about using a brand that I'm not familiar with, especially since I have very sensitive and reactive skin.
Julie can be described as full-coverage, soft wisteria purple metallic. The soft color and subtle shimmer give nails a delicate and feminine look. Originally created for a custom runway shade for fashion designer Zang Toi.
This was one of the products that I was most excited about! The reason is because of the fact that "Julie" is its name (and so is mine). Yeah, I like it because I finally found the Zoya polish that had the same name as I do. The color is just as described. It's a light shimmery purple with a metallic finish. I though it was going to be a sheer polish (I hate sheers) but it's actually an opaque (I love opaques). The color is very feminine and I don't mind.
Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia Perfume Roll-On: .33 oz Value $12
This heady, vintage-inspired blend showcases the sacred Gardenia bloom, a symbol of love, unity, grace and strength. It's sweet, smooth and slightly citrusy aroma is reminiscent of Jasmine, Sweet Orange and Tea Leaves. 100% vegan.
The perfume roll on is my second favorite thing in thee bag! I was never a fan of the roll ons because their roll ons. I really don't have an excuse, it is easier for on the go (no one wants to carry a heavy bottle). This smells so good, gardenias are always so fragrant! I love gardenias, they are beautiful, fragrant flowers. This smells delicious and its not too overwhelming. It's a very long lasting fragrance and the dry down is lovely. I've been using this whenever I could (multiple uses within a few house just because I want to). Oh! and it doesn't give me a pulsar (what I call pulsating headaches) which is a great bonus!
Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl Mini Body Butter: 2 oz Value $7
Get sun-kissed, healthy skin and radiate from the inside out with the body-loving brilliance of our Bronzing Body Butter. A little goes a long way with this generously sized, multi-tasking product that brings you healthy moisture and instantly adds a sun-kissed glow to skin with just-right shimmer. Ultra-nourishing phytonutrients and natural powerhouse ingredients like coconut, argan oil and tamanu, hydrate and make skin healthier and younger-acting long term.
I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I don't like butters ( I avoid all body lotions and butters as much as possible). They never reacted that well with my skin and I feel like they don't sink in that well either (leaves a disgusting greasy layer on top of my skin). So I'm definitely throwing this in the basket filled with unused product.
Mirabella Shimmerati Glimmer Gloss: .23 oz Value $16
Brilliant ruby red gloss in a stunningly sleek package. Can easily be tucked into a clutch or pocket and taken to all of the parties of the season. Paraben-free
I think I was suppose to get a Mirabella Color Sheers Lipstick? instead I got one of these! :D
I'm quite happy, they obviously got their package idea from Hourglass. I'm not keen on brands that rip off other brand's packaging (it literally annoys me). Anyway it's a bright ruby red and lots of shimmer. I'm not that into lip glosses either especially with shimmer. So I'm not quite sure if I actually use this product.
In Conclusion: Great bag this month! This bag (not the actual bag) made up for the last two shitty months. Ipsy used something called ipsymatch to match products to you (which is cool). So not everyone's going to get the same thing which is super great.
