Graze Box Review: April 2013 Nibblebox #7

I've been really appreciating my Graze boxes lately, I'm sleeping at all odd hours of the day. I never want a large snack, if I'm snacking, it'll be portioned controlled. Not that I have a problem controlling myself. So if you're interested in joining, it's still invitation only, use my invitation code ZTMZWW6, join here.

Summer Berry Compote:

"whole grain short bread dipper: butter, margarine (vegetable oil, water, salt), caster sugar, whole wheat flour, plain wheat flour

berry compote: water, raspberries, strawberries, sugar, blackcurrants, raspberry juice concentrate, corn flour, orange zest"

contains gluten, milk, and wheat

My Thoughts:  I was holding this in my hand with a bunch of other stuff and I hit something. I dropped the berry compote and the short breads on my leather couch. Which was annoying as hell by the way. Totally freaked me out because I didn't really know how to clean the leather, let's just say it was a pain in the ass.

Anyway, I still consumed it. I know, I know, germs blah blah blah but my home is super duper clean. And I'm not just saying that, every part of the house is cleaned/scrubbed every single day. My house is impeccable. I can eat off the floor but that's just mentally unstimulating. The short breads tastes so much better when you douse them in the berry compote. Alone or half dipped is fine but if you want maximum tastiness cover them whole.

Herby Bread Basket:

"mini garlic croutons: wheat flour, vegetable oil, garlic, salt

mini basil breadsticks: wheat flour, olive oil, vegetable oil, yeast, salt, malt flour, basil, garlic

oregano rice crackers: rice, vegetable oil, soy sauce (soybean, wheat, salt), sugar, oregano, tapioca starch, corn maltodextrin, paprika, caramel"

contains gluten, soy and wheat

My Thoughts: If you enjoy garlic (like I do) you'll like this. The croutons are nice and crunchy, the breadsticks are very basily. The part I hated the most was the rice crackers, they tasted plain weird. The texture was so unsatisfying and they weren't even crunchy. They felt sort of soggy in my mouth, it was just gross. And normally I'll just reject the whole thing but I really enjoyed the croutons and breadsticks.

Apple Cosmo:

"lime infused raisins: raisins, natural flavoring

cranberries: cranberries, sugar, sunflower oil

apple: apple, citric acid, and ascorbic acid"

My Thoughts: I quite liked this, the lime on the apples really tingle on my tongue. Which makes the apples so much better. Dried apples are so boring to me! the lime kept me interested. Anything infused raisins are tasty, plain raisins are good on their own. Cranberries and raisins are the same to me (not really) they taste great plain or infused. Nothing was overly sweet either so that was nice.

Cookies and Cream:

"mini chocolate cookies: wheat flour, sugar, butter, margarine (vegetable oil, water, citric acid, flavors), cocoa powder, glucose syrup, egg powder, baking soda, salt, salt

roasted hazelnuts: hazelnuts

white chocolate buttons: sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk, soy lecithin, natural vanilla

sunflower seeds: sunflower seeds"

contains eggs, gluten, milk, soy, tree nuts and wheat

My Thoughts: Why hello there, I haven't seen you before.  Mmm this was a good one! The mini cookies were tasty and cute. You know how I much better I like the white chocolate buttons than the milk chocolate ones. Roasted hazelnuts are the best thing ever, I am a hazelnut fiend. The sunflower seeds though, oh my god why? I hate naked sunflower seeds. I love the rest but not the gross naked sunflower seeds. It's sort of like I found the lover of my life but he's dead and half buried underground. That's how I feel about this.
