Birchbox April 2013 Review

Okay, So this month birchbox collaborated with Women's Health and that's awesome. It's great because I find that birchbox is only good when they team up with a certain organization or whatever. I didn't actually like the contents of my box, everything was no bueno in my opinion. So let's get started!

The Information Card:

The Box: Birchbox

The Cost: $10 each month + Free Shipping

The Products: Deluxe Beauty & Lifestyle Samples.

Nexxus Rejuvenating Hair Elixir: 4 mL

I used this in my hair and I don't know how I feel about it. It's suppose to combat 8 signs of aging hair: volume loss, breakage, less shine, roughness, dryness, brittleness and unruliness. Was I suppose to use the whole thing in my hair? I didn't. Products always say that they'll take away frizz and all that sweet stuff. I haven't seen any difference in the departing of the frizz, I still have those frizzy fuckers. Ans to be honest I don't care about hair "elixirs" especially from Nexxus.

StriVectin-SD Eye Concentrate For Wrinkles: 7 mL

I've been squinting a ton recently or more than usual. And I noticed that when I look really really closely around my eye, there are a few lines. Omg! wrinkles or crows feet or whatever! things I don't want in my life! I use it twice a day, day and night. I really enjoy this and I do like it a lot.

Skin & Co. Sicilian Body Gel: 40 mL

Showers, I love taking long long showers. I used to like shower gels but then I changed my mind and then I hated them. I hated them until I tried Molten Brown's Relaxing Yuan Zhi Bath & Shower Gel. God, I fell head over heels for that shower gel. Anyway, this isn't about my deep love for Molten Brown this is about the sicilian orange body gel. The body gel does smell awfully good it's this super citrusy yum yum smell. I like it but it can never beat my Molten brown.

Youngblood Anti-Shine Mattifier: .05 oz.

I don't have oily skin and I don't get oily during the day. Never have I tried a product that'll make me shine free because I've never been "shiny". I always enjoyed that dewy skin look. Sometimes my skin gets really dry like the Sahara desert and I'll get those pesky dry patches, so I wouldn't want to look even more matte. I do however like the fact that I have a nice sized sample to use if I do need it in the future.

Weleda Body Lotion in Wild Rose, Sea Buckthorn, and Pomegranate: .13 oz.

Weleda always have amazing products and I used to use their Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion and I liked it very much. Now in the present time and since the  past two years I haven't used lotion, at all. My skin is just too reactive and so all I do is use oils on it. The sea buckthorn has  a sweet herbal scent and it smelt great, I really did like it. I'm sure the wild rose and the pomegranate versions are great, too. I actually hate lotion samples because there isn't a zipper so if I don't use it all it's not like I can close it back up.
