January Eco Emi Box 2013

 The Box : Eco Emi

The Cost : $15 each month

The Products: Natural Vegan Beauty and Lifestyle samples.

The Information Card:

So, when I opened this month's box I automatically thought "Valentine's Day," there were these shiny red hearts and my card smelled faintly of lavender

Hugo Naturals Volumizing Shampoo in Vanilla & Sweet Orange 2 fl. oz:
100% natural Volumizing Shampoo treats your hair with care, cleansing gently without harsh chemicals and sulfates that can strip away moisture. Hugo blends the finest quality botanical extracts and essential ingredients to give you smooth, frizz-free hair.

I always liked Hugo Naturals because the products are awesome. The products are always Gluten-free and vegan, and I can't wait to try out this shampoo.

Madecasse Chocolate Pink Pepper and Citrus Chocolate .88 oz.:
This bar has notes of citrus and touches of spice and berries, mingling with a deep cocoa flavor.

I always had a thing for dark chocolate. My motto is "The darker the chocolate, the better," but that's just me. So I broke off a square and so I bit into the chocolate, I can definitely taste the fruit and the hints of pepper. I enjoy it but it isn't my favorite . I believe it was the pepper that I wasn't into.

Linwoods Milled Flaxseed Cocoa & Berries :
Kick start your day with a boost of energy! Add to cereal, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, sprinkle onto salads, smoothies, yogurt, desserts, the options are endless. This is filled with antioxidants, omega 3, zinc, iron, and fiber. All essentials for maintaining a healthy body!

I don't know how I feel about the milled flaxseed since the cover is very unappealing.  But I have tried and loved ground flaxseed. Flaxseed is delicious in yogurt and pancakes.

Wine Country Organics Pinot Lip Tint:
This sheer, organic grape seed oil lip tint provides rich organic moisturizing with a touch of natural pigment. This 100% natural formula, made with 97% certified organic ingredients-soothes, conditions, and moisturizes for soft, beautiful, and kissable lips.

I haven't tried this yet because I have a crack ton of lip balm. I am a lip balm junkie and I just have a lot. This does interest me since I am a avid fan of tints and stains.

7th Heaven Moroccan Clay Masque .59 oz:
This line of face masks is truly wonderful! Packed full of clean organic easy to read ingredients that will hydrate, cleanse and tone your skin.

Holy moly! This reminds me of Montagne jeunesse, except for the name difference and probably the types of masks that they do have. But overall the look is the same. And to be honest I believe that the 7th Heaven face masks will be for sure 100% natural and organic ingredients. I can also read the whole ingredient list without being like what the hell is this?

Yogi Tea in Stress Relief and Bedtime:
When stress has a hold on you, take a break and brew a cup of Kava Stress Relief which combines Kava with cinnamon and Sarsaparilla to add warmth and spice or Relax, tuck yourself into bed and get a restful night's sleep.

Aubrey Organics White Camellia Hydrating Bath Bar:
Herbal extracts and skin cleansers come together in this elegant, skin pampering complexion and body bar delicately scented with jasmine oil. This soap will make your skin super soft with a beautiful floral scent.

I absolutely adore the scent of Jasmine, it's so beautiful. I like bar soap a lot, but I do not like using soaps all the time. Although if I had to choose between shower gels or bar soap, I'll choose bar soap.

Lisa Ann Skincare mandarin Body Butter:
Whipped and filled with over 90% Fair Trade shea butter, this is as pure as it gets. Lisa Ann gently whips it up and adds luxurious oils to provide you with a long lasting treat for your skin.

I don't like body butters for my skin since I find that they only sit on top of my skin and takes forever to sink in. I hate that. When body butters or lotions that are too heavy they actually clog my skin and then I end up with rashes. I have very sensitive reactive skin. When I touched the body butter it was this weird spongy texture, wasn't creamy, just like a sponge. I put some on the back of my hands and it smells really bad. On the skin I get a faint hint of citrus and really strong odd smoky scent. It's absolutely atrocious! I will never purchase this, ever.

The All natural Face Pink Gold Vegan Eyeshadow:
This is a beautiful pink shadow foiled with a gorgeous gold tone. If you use it alone or with other primers it still throws the crazy gold tones, but you will see more of the pink. Pink gold just about sums it up! This color is warm and it'll work with all skin tones.

In Conclusion: I love Eco Emi every single month. Christine makes every single month so special, I just love it. In my opinion this is so worth the $15 dollars.
