Graze Box Review: February 2013 Nibblebox #1

So I've known about Graze for some time now and recently it has been released in the US.

Graze box cost $5 per week and you can choose which snacks you would like more or less of.

Black Pepper Pistachios:

"pistachios, salt, natural black pepper flavors"

My Thoughts: I love pistachios. They are addicting little beasts! Anyway, the pistachios are good but their not great. The pistachios were a bit bland so they would've been better if there were more pepper.

Date Banana Loaf:

"cinnamon spiced raisins: raisins, natural flavor

yogurt covered sunflower seeds: sunflower seeds, yogurt coating (sugar, vegetable oil, whey powder, whey protein, citric acid, acacia gum, shellac, soy lecithin, natural flavors) (contains dairy)

chopped dates: dates

banana coins: banana coins

"

My Thoughts: So this had a reverse reaction. I thought that I was going to love the dates and the dried bananas and I'll hate the yogurt covered sunflower seeds but I was wrong. I really love bananas but only if they aren't dried, turns out I hate dried bananas. Also I'm not a lover of the dates either, I only enjoy juicy dates and when they're in larabars. I already love raisins so they were in the clear. The one that surprised me the most was the yogurt covered sunflower seeds. Wowza did they surprise me! I don't like sunflower seeds on their own because they are not tasty. But the yogurt made it so much more palatable. Now I'm going to go change my preferences on Graze.

Bakewell Tart:

"cherry infused raisins: raisins, natural cherry flavoring

cranberries: cranberries, sugar, sunflower oil

almonds: almonds
"

My Thoughts: This snack has all three of my favorite things almonds, cherries, and raisins. The almonds tasted blanched but that's fine. The cherries are awesome, lightly sweetened. The golden raisins are great. I feel like the raisins have taken in the flavor of the cherries so they are kind of like cherry infused raisins. They are so good.

Herby Bread Basket:

"Mini garlic croutons: wheat flour, olive oil, vegetable oil, yeast, salt, malt flour

Mini basil breadsticks: wheat flour, olive oil, vegetable oil, yeast, salt, malt flour, basil, garlic

Oregano rice crackers: rice, vegetable oil, soy sauce (soy bean, wheat, salt), sugar, oregano, tapioca starch, corn maltodextrin, paprika, caramel "  (Contains wheat and soy)

My Thoughts: Mmm this is a good one. I really enjoyed the garlic croutons, they are crunchy and garlicky ( really up my alley). The basil baguettes are also very tasty, the only one I wasn't very into was the oregano rice crackers. The rice crackers are just absolutely weird. My taste buds aren't lovin' it.

In Conclusion: I like this a lot, I've been waiting to try Graze forever. I think this is a great snacking system. So I'll definitely update along each one I try.
